Juniors 9 to 17 Years
Our junior cricketers aren't fully grown adults with the same skill level as our senior players, so we have improved the way cricket is played to suit their needs.
There are smaller team sizes to encourage greater match action for all players
We have reduced the pitch length & boundary widths for the younger age groups to make sure they're relevant to your child's size and age
Gone are the days where junior cricket takes up the whole weekend! We are now offering shortened match lengths with high levels of action & involvement

ICL Teams
The Integrated Cricket Leagues provides an opportunity for cricket clubs to enter team(s) into a competition that plays a modified format, aimed at those with less cricket skills, experience or confidence.
Thanks to our amazing sponsors the SHDCC are able to offer our ICL program at no cost to the players. We also provide a free uniform when funding is available.
Female Teams
The SHDCC are proud to offer women's cricket in the Peel Cricket Association. Playing in the B grade competition our ladies side find the perfect balance between improving their skills, having fun and making life long friends. We are always on the lookout for more ladies to join our sides so feel free to reach out to the club for more info.
Ladies pre season training starts on Tuesday September 5th (6pm-8pm) at Evolution Cricket in Golden Bay.
Senior Teams
Playing in the Peel Cricket Association the SHDCC have senior mens sides to suit all skills and abilities. Whether you are just getting back into cricket, trying it for the first time or a seasoned veteran looking for a change of scenery, we can find the right fit for you! Pre season training kicks off at 8am on Sunday the 4th of August at Evolution Cricket in Golden Bay.
